When hungry fairgoers wandered the Kentucky State Fair last week, they were greeted by the sizzling aroma of Alpha Roost Farms ostrich on the grill. Curiosity quickly turned into enthusiasm as visitors lined up to try our lean, flavorful ground patties—so much so that we sold out completely.
The overwhelming response wasn’t just about taste; it was a reflection of the growing appetite for better, healthier alternatives and the trust Alpha Roost is earning for the way we raise and harvest our birds.
“What an incredible weekend,” said founder Brent Williams. “We’re beyond grateful for the support and curiosity from everyone who stopped by. Seeing people try ostrich for the first time—and love it—that’s what keeps us going. We raise these birds with care and passion, and I think that shows in every bite.”
